LAISON introduced the Split Type STS Prepaid Water Meter Solution to Malawi since year 2016, with aim to improve the Water Revenue and Working Efficiency for Water Boards.
There are totally FIVE (5) Water Boards in Malawi, responsible for the Water Distribution for the whole country, THREE (3) of them has already installed LAISON Smart Water Meter for Pilot and 2nd or 3rd phase in bulk.
Moreover, LAISON has implement the integration with local E-payment Platform in Malawi, includes TNM, AIRTEL Mobile Money, FNB Online Bank for easy Water Purchase of end-users and avoid heavy investment in establishment of Vending Points for Water Boards. Now more than 80% of the Water Purchase are done through E-payment Platform.
