The President of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan with the Minister of Water Hon. Jumaa Aweso (MP) along with other officials Water experts from Ministry and various Stakeholders attended the International Water Week (Maji Week). Also, the Annual Water Conference (AWAC 2021) held in Dar es Salaam on 22~25th March 2022 during Maji Week.

At the conference, the Minister of Water Hon. Jumaa Aweso was awarded the HIGH ACHIEVER AWARD by ATAWAS Water Supply Institute, and called on all Water Sector executives to use the conference as a catalyst for professional development and development in the water sector.

LAISON, attending AWAC as exhibitor, is honored to showcase the Internet of Things (IoT) Prepaid Smart Water Meters and Mobile Vending Solution to the challenges of Billings and Non-Revenue Water (NRW). Meanwhile, LAISON share the Prepaid water meter project experience in more than 15 Africa countries. In Tanzania, LAISON also actively do the pilot project with DUWASA, SUWASA, etc.. And the Prepaid Smart Water Meter helps water companies to improve the cash flow and insure the sustainability. Water companies will possible to have more fund to maintenance the infrastructure for continuous water supply. In addition, it effectively help to reduce customer complaints about water billing to improve customer satisfaction, which responding to the call of the President of Tanzania Hon.
